I have a passion for helping couples, so that they are happier and healthier and can then raise happier and healthier children; children who have watched excellent role models of marriage and parenting. I focus on the relationship bond using Emotionally Focused Therapy see www.iceeft.com to see research on success of this modality. Therapy offered: - Pre-marital counseling - Couple enrichment therapy - Helping couples with improving communications, problem-solving, and decision-making - Family therapy, parenting issues - Grief and loss - Merging step-families - I also have experience helping people with depression and dealing with the impacts of abuse in childhood.

I am EMDR certified. This is the World Health Organization's number one choice of treatment for trauma. I am working towards certification as an Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples. I am certified to use: * Myers Briggs: Subjected to hundreds of studies for over 40 years, this tool is useful in helping couples understand each other. * Prepare Enrich: comprehensive assessment tool used for over 3 million couples over the last 30 years.

I am located in the Reading / Fleetwood / Topton / Kutztown area of Pennsylvania.

Take that first courageous step and contact me below to start the process of getting to a Better Place.

It is my privilege to walk alongside individuals, couples, and families toward their healing journey. Healing is not a linear path but rather one with ups, downs, twists, and turns, and it is my honor to guide you toward more helpful coping strategies and outlooks. I am passionate and committed to believing every person is worthy and capable of healing from trauma, depression, loss, anxiety, relationship issues, and many other experiences that could be causing emotional pain or distress. I focus primarily on relationship bonds using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

I hold a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MA MFT) from Evangelical Seminary (a legacy partner of Kairos University). I am a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. I hold a level one Gottman Method Couples Therapy certification from The Gottman Institute. I am certified to use Myers-Briggs and Prepare and Enrich. I have also been trained in Trauma-Focused CBT, Core Communication, and ChildLine-mandated reporting.

I am located in the Reading / Fleetwood / Kutztown / Allentown areas of Pennsylvania.

Having had the honor of working with families in various stages of their life continues to be my career purpose. I have worked with vulnerable populations for the better part of 15 years. Throughout this diverse experience, I am aware of the importance of maintaining the emotional health of the family.  Helping each member create secure relational attachments that will benefit them in all relationships is a priority to me.  The family is one of the most dynamic systems, and its members often endure unexpected changes.  Minor changes will not cause any significant distress to the family. However, there can be life-altering factors that have the potential to disrupt the family's normal structure and routine. These clusters of stress and emotional duress are the moments when every person can use additional emotional support. It is my goal to support you and your family through these seemingly unmanageable times. Together we will explore coping skills, determine how to prioritize each issue, and explore the aspects of the situations that will cause a permanent impact, and those that will return to their usual state after some period. My objective is to help you find and make the decision that will be best for you and your family.
